REMOVING spray paint from a body kit......yes its bad.....
I just got a full wings west lip kit for a 92-95 Hatch from a friend of mine.....
My firend made the mistake of spray painting it....
What is an easy way to remove the spray paint? I think the front is urethane and the rear and sides are ABS plastic so paint thinner will ruin them right?
Let me know
(BTW I might want to leave the front lip black with no paint, so i dont really want to sand the lips and than prime them and paint them and that whole process.....)

I will never use aircraft stripper on plastic, since it will burn it. not litereally flames, but leave a bad wax mark.

I think he means that he wants it to be the black color that alot of urethane/abs stuff comes in when you first buy it. if so, it will be next to impossible to have it look decent like that since it's been painted already. GL

Hahaha...... I usually do that too......
I would just sand it down and repaint it, if you want it the original flat black plastic color, then why not just paint it flat black?
