Removing the side molding?
on a 96-98 civic is the side molding glued on? or is it held in by clips of some sort? i've been thinking of pulling it off but not sure what to expect.

Re: Removing the side molding? (RFX)
I believe the 96-98 and 99-00 side moldings are the same. When I took mine off there was 2 screws in the front and I believe 4 on the bottom.. Once you remove the screws you just push it forward (it should move just a little bit) and then pull it out towards you (not to hard). And thats it..

Re: Removing the side molding? (RFX)
They are clipped on, me and a friend recently put ctr moldings on his ek and we had to take out the interior to unclip the moldings without breaking them.
