Default removing pistons from d15b7

I just want to know if it is possible to remove the pistons without removing the cylinder head. It's because recently i rebuilted the head and the engine is taking a lot more oil, so i bet the rings is the problem. I dont want to remove the again and buy a new set of bolts and gasket, so if i could remove the pistons from the bottom it'll ease my life. So guys let me know if it can be done this way.

I have a 93 civic dx with a d15b7 engine.

the real question is how would you get them back in once you've taken them out. Dude you got to take the head back off, matter of fact I would remove the motor from the car to make life easy. If you have not do so already, hope this helps some but if in doubt get a Helms.

it takes only a few moments to remove the head. just do it right the 1st time. Or i guess in your case the 2nd time
