Removing a O2 Sensor
So I got my new Cat in & want to replace it, but I can't figure out how to remove the O2 sensor of top of the old one. Anyone know? Should it unscrew, pull out, or do I need to cut it & replace it?

Re: Removing a O2 Sensor (the soL that could)
I just removed mine...
I took a wrench, held the header on the floor, and hit it with a hammer, loosened right away. I imagine it would be the same w/ a cat. If not PB blaster + 2 hours of soaking will be your friend.

It should screw out with the special socket or a normal wrench but PB blaster does make it easier. If it still won't come out try heating it with a torch and hitting it with a hammer
