removing head unit from 97 civic?
my car has this really shitty head unit in it and i want to get rid of it. i have a nice eclipse unit in my truck that im going to swap into it. the problem is that i dont know how to get the head unit out of the car. do i take the whole plastic piece off that surrounds the head unit? is it attached by any screws or can i just pop it off? do i have to take a larger part of the dash off? thanks for the help

If you dont have an EX, swap shouldnt take you more than an hour. Just takes a little longer with an EX if you want to retain remote door locks.

do i really have to take out most of the dash if both units are aftermarket? is there an easier way to just pop it out and pop the new one in because i dont have to splice any wires?
