Removing Driver Side A-Pillar Trim Piece on 92-95 Civic
Hello People~~
I tried removing my driver side a-pillar trim piece on my 1995 Civic Coupe today but despite following all possible DIY guides on the Internet, I couldn't seem to pull it out!!!
I removed my rubber lining, but the trim piece doesn't seem to want to come out, no matter how hard I pull!
Am I doing the right thing??
Thanks!
Jessi~

nope.....
gotta pull harder!!!! its just a couple of metal clips attached to plastic tabs on the back of the trim piece.
take a flat head and carfully pry on it.
it will eventually come off

It takes some hard pulling if its never been removed. Pull downward and toward the back of the car, away from the dash. You actually start at the farthest side from the dash, and shimmy it out once its loose. You cant go gentle on the cover, its a bitch to get out sometimes.

Not if you take it slow and steady. dont just start jerking the crap outta it, but at the same time you cant be gentle with it. Give it some muscle, but dont try and bend it or anything. The clips can be pain, but some strong wiggling can loosen them up

Do yourself a favour and buy a upholstry clip removal tool.
Locate where the metal clips are and pry up GENTLY in that location.
That's all that hold it in, you also may have to pull upwards as the last clip it removed to separate the panel from where it slides into the dash.
