Default Removing Door Handles

97 civic hatchback,

I recently bought new doors and now i have to switch the door handles over so that i can use my key to lock and open the new doors. I took out the two 10mm bolts and i am stuck on what to do next...I saw the other post about removing door handles and it still confuses me...
Heres a pic (sorry about the blur, i just suck at taking pics)

can i take the whole handle out instead of "gutting" the handles and taking the lock mechanism out?

you do not have to take of the retainer or the key cylinder to get the handle out...

here is an example of how to remove the bar connecting to the key cylinder hope this helps

first you dont need to switch the whole handle, unless its different color, you can just switch the lock cylinder, but anyway try this
there is a round cut ring,
i used two small flat scredrivers,
pusg from one side, and pull from another, just find out where the ring has opening
