Default Removing climate control

Im replacing my A/C CC unit with a non A/C unit after removing my A/C all together. Whats the easiest step by step way to remove the climate control out of an EG? Tried looking for a write up but couldnt find one.

You need to pull the dash out to remove it all.

There might be a writeup out there, but I got by using four resources the first time I pulled the CCU on my 93 Civic:

1. http://media.honda.co.uk/car/owner/m...s/CivicManual/ (UK manual site links are allowed, last I heard a few months ago).
2. the free online manual specific to your Civic at autozone.com
3. Parts drawings at www.bkhondaparts.com
4. practiced on one at the wrecking yard.

For the manuals, you will likely need to work with a few sections. E.g. the radio removal section and the CCU removal section. Once you know which screws/bolts to look for and what cables to disconnect, it is not too difficult. First time ever CCU removal is annoying for sure, though.

Or you could just remove the A/C button and replace it with the block off plate, the climate control units themselves are identical.
