Default Removing cam cover

What all do i have to remove to get the cam cover off on my d16?

well some people just cut it cleanly i think to expose it but if u are going to do that do not be surprised when ur car gets fucked up because arock got stuck in the teeth of the cam.

Yah, im just taking it off to check the timing belt. I think it may have broke and yah i know im f**ked if so. Is there just 4 bolts that hold on the cover?

Unplug the spark plug wires, remove any other wires hanging on, and remove all the bolts. It's uber-easy.

Be careful not to over-tighten any of the bolts when you replace it. I believe they are only supposed to be torqued to 7 lb-ft. Also, put a little Hondabond around the underside of the valve cover where it meets the cam seal.
