removing the a/c belt..........
I've heard that if you remove your a/c belt that you will feel a huge difference...is this true? will it be worth sacrificing my a/c (i live in maryland, some people wont believe it but here it get to like 100 with like 60% humidity)?

welll youll get more if you just remove the whole thing drop the compressor etc... i think ( i think) that removing the belt would simply be the same as just not turning your ac on... however i do know that dropping your power steering belt does help something.... but no power steering is kind of a pain heh

you would get more of a increase in overall performance if you ate a whole box of Ex-Lax!
Removing the AC belt does nothing. I know, I used to do it!

removing the a/c belt does nothing other than not spin your compressor.
however if you take off your compressor and the a/c radiator you'll have weight and strain off the engine as well as weight reduction (about 30 lbs itself).
I took of power steering and a/c and noticed bigtime difference in torque especially. I also like the feel of the steering and feeling the wheels w/o power steering.
Let's just say before I couldn't power brake that easily and now i can roast both tires with over 200,000 miles and a screwed up tranny
