removed muffler....problems...??
i removed my stock muffler from my bone stock EG on Saturday because it was damaged. i unbolted it with two screws and removed the two rubber hangers. took 5 minutes. i am waiting on the new muffler, but in the mean time my car is way loud and sounds super unhealthy. it sounds like its gurgling at high RPMs and it takes a few extra seconds for the motor to turn over. my buddy says that cold air can get sucked in and **** my **** up but i dunno. im gettin this **** put back together by this SAT. any advice please!. i wanna know if im cool two drive it or whats up. its just backfiring. Dont worry about it i ran around with just my cat for 3 weeks waiting for my exhaust your not gunna do any damage and actually you'll find that you have much better top end, but your low end will suck. If you fix it sat no worries it will just be annoying untill then.

The cold air issue is usually only when its cold outside, i think i remeber my automotive instructer saying 48 or below, and that was only on a open manifold/ header. If you have the cat and the rest of the cat till the axle-back portion, you wont cause any damage.
