removeable steering wheel help
just got a removeable steering wheel and hub kit from tekniq auto .
i installed it a week ago, very easy i might add, and i go to use my wipers last night and the lowest speed on the front wipers doesnt work.
wtf? the other 2 or 3 speeds (cant remember how many there are) work just fine but the slowest doesnt work at all.
yes the wipers worked fine before the install. anyone have any ideas whats going on or how to fix it?
info on car: 95 dx hatch with dual airbags. everything else works thats around the steering column: turn signals, windshield squirters, etc. NO my horn doesnt work though, o well.
also the SRS light is now always on but all i got to do is search for that answer.
thanks for any and all help

hmm, never messed with a removeable steering wheel,
but i have removed my wheel a few times..
sounds like you didnt put your wiring back together properly.
thats what pops into my head...
make sure everythings plugged in right!

so you're saying the 1st speed doesn't work but the fast one doesn't? there's only 2 speeds btw. theres no intermediate.
im not sure about that, but yea. you can unplug your srs. if you do figure out how to get it to work properly, LET ME KNOW HOW!

theres 3 speeds for the wipers. the medium and fast work but not slow. the only wiring that i messed with was the wiring peices tekniq sent me for the horn. shitty instructions but i just plugged them in and they dont work. the wiring in the hub didnt connect to anything on the car. or atleast i didnt see anything when i put the hub on.hmmm

Re: (murmur9)
What you did shouldn't have affected the wipers. Pull it apart and double check that area to be sure you didn't accidently piull something out of place.
As far as the SRS light, you can unplug that from the cluster, it's the yellow plug.

i messed around with some of the wiring on the wheel in the apartment last night. havent been out to the car yet to try it. wont worry about the srs light since ive got a jdm cluster on the way. if that doesnt work i'll just take it apart again.
