removal of oem sound deadening material
I have heard of people using dry ice or just going at it with a mallet and chisel. I am un able to find the thread that shows the different methods used to remove the factory sound deadening material found in area of the trunk. I searched and was unable to find anything. If some one could help me dig up that link or post their own methods i would really appreciate it
thanks in advance

heat gun and a putty knife....or
dry ice and a putty knife (less messy...easy clean up with a vacuum)
just try to remember not to touch the dry ice with your BARE HANDS
it gives ouchies
