Reliable aftermarket cat options?
I'm trying to find a good cat to use with a d-series header. It would be nice to get a bolt-on cat so I can swap in others down the road...
My exhaust mechanic said he has had a lot of magnaflow cats have problems throwing CELs lately- in fact, he stopped buying them. Apparently they had a bad run, or something. I don't have anything against them and seem to have read good things about them here on HT.
What are some other options or companies? I need something affordable, high-flow or not, bolt-on or not, but prefered. All I really want is a cat with the proper O2 sensor boss (after the cat) that wont throw a code, and keep me legal.
Also, it looks like I can unwrap the engine harness enough to relocate my front mounted O2 sensors to under the car, rather than cutting and splicing wires. Does anyone know if there's enough wire in there to make it to the new cat location once I separate them from the main harness?
Cheers!

Re: Reliable aftermarket cat options? (Swerv)
Magnaflow cats are excellent. In my experience they perform flawlessly (I have seen 4 run continuously for years now without problems, all different part #'s). If your concerned, random technology makes a very expensive product that isn't any better, and pacesetter makes genuine 100% crap.
Up to you, i'd choose magnaflow again if i was to buy another one today.
