Refilling trans fluid B16 HELP!!!!
Just got some synchromesh, and have all the fluid out. Now im stuck with a tranny with now fluid or any clue about how to get the new stuff in...Other then the 1/2 inch bolt on the side of the tranny behind the passenger side wheel, but it doesnt look like it would work out too well...where do I put it in!!!!

Get a funnel and put it in the tranny filler on top of the trans.
Side note: take that synchro-crap back and get regular Honda MTF.

you drained it out of the 3/8 square drive correct?
If so put that back in after everything drained and look up about 7 inches and back about 4 inches. There should be a bolt that has a 17mm head. Its right under or near the passenger side axle. Take that off and thats where you fill it from. Its going to be a bitch to get it in there without spilling it so some clear hose shoved in the hole will make it easier for you. Let me look for a pic for you.

if you got regular syncromesh you got pretty much honda mtf, if you got the FM you got the good stuff. and take the fill plug out of the side of the trans by the axle, and fill it till it pours out of that plug, then put it back in and drive away

hope this helps. if you dont want do it through the vss hole, in the 17th pic down the bolt that is rign next to the axle there is the fill hole.

ya that would have been smart...but we were retarded and got bored on thanksgiving so nothing is open.
IM on my buddies computer so dial up is a pia when it comes to load time...

take the fill plug out! fill it till it comes out of the fill plug!! and use a funnel with a garden hose attached to it, not that hard to figure out your both probably drunk
