Default Refilling bseries coolant? How much? "Honda Type 2"?

I just did a headgasket change and i need to refill the colant and im wondering how much to buy. From my searching it looks like 4qts ish, but if i could get a hard number that would be good.

I was just going to buy the 50/50 water/glycol mix, is this ok? I read something about honda type 2 blue coolant, whats that? any advantages over water/glycol other than the HONDA name?

Thanks

at the dealership...they sell this big tank of coolant, i think its like 5 qts. for people that want to flush their system...and everything is already mixed. I couldn't find one that's not. They also sell regular 1qt. size if you need it. Type 1 and type 2 coolant just means that they're for different year cars, just tell them what car you have and they'll give you the right bottle.

i just used 50/50 water/prestone after my hg install. flushed the system with the prestone super flush and water a few times. from what ive heard any coolant without silicates will work. honda and prestone are ok for sure. i know brands like PEAK contain silicates which ive read is bad for our cooling systems.

edit: i used about a gallon maybe a little more

That's about 5 qts.

yeah they are tricky to install right, but if they are installed right , they dont leak. You need orings and recieving grooves to properly run a copper headgasket.
