6800, but u can rev to 7200. Then the limiter kicks in.

wow are you serious. i never knew how high you could take it and i just put an Si guage cluster in and i can take it to 50mph at like 5800 in first w/ that dx tranny, but it just sounds like it's going to blow or something man. I have a ls ecu btw

Why are you ******* a y7 anyways? all 106 ponies cant be that fun, I got a y8 and it's still slow as ****. But to every person his own I guess.

Me? I never go past second gear. The hatch tranny is geared so high that I just cruise around at six grand. No reason to shift any higher even on the highway!

Q - What's getting crappy gas mileage, loosens all your fillings and sounds like a giant hornet?
A - Me buzzing along in my 99 hatch at 6000 RPM.
