Okay homies. I live in california and I have a bare D series head+block. Has anybody recycled these before and how much did ya get?

I just trash them. I think you might get 50 bucks for them but i doubt it.

if you take everythingout of the head thats not aluminum you might get some cash for it, and if you can get the sleeve out of the block you might get 50 bucks for both

raw aluminum is up to $1.11 per pound on the stock market.

My local recycling yard pays 45 cents per pound for scrap aluminum. You just knock the sleeves out of the block and take it in and they give $40 or so
