Default Recommended Tire Size?

Hey guys,
I have a 1997 silver civic coupe, pretty much stock everything. I just got some '00 SI rims though. I am wondering what size tires should I get that will look decent on the car, considering stock height . Is stock size the way to go? It looks just a little too wide

The stock size is 195/55/15, you can put that back or go 205/50/15.

Which i prefer: 205/50/15
Why?: Because it looks better and it handles better.

But either one is good to have on the car.

205/50 sounding good only one thing keeping me from it...

Will there be a noticeable gap since it is at stock height? Does anyone have pictures of 205/50/15 on stock height? Thanks!

i sent you IM but no reply,
Any ways if you plan on staying with the stock height it will have a space, but then again it will look fuller width wise and it will handle better and still look good better than the 195/55/15.
as for how much more money well it may cost $5.00 to $25.00 more than the stock size and it is well worth the difference.....

good luck...

Yeah I'll probably keep it at stock height, don't really feel like putting more money into it at this time. It's a daily driver in California, when you say handling, does that include just city driving?

Hi,
Ok on you keeping the stock height, well as for handling it will be better all around, regular everyday driving and performance as Drifting, wet roads etc.....

good luck with it, and hope to here you working on more mods to the car in the near future.....
