Default Recommend a good distributor

I'm going to replace my distrib for a 98 civic gx
my control mod and coil are less than a year old so maybe just the housing will suffice.
can you all recommend a good make?

Yea for something like this, go with OEM Honda product if you want your money's worth. Beck/Arnley and Cardone are good too, but there's nothing like OEM for this.

Shop all online vendors and choose the best price - part, shipping, handling.

Distributors aren't cheap. I replaced mine a few months ago. I just got a used OEM Honda one from a reputable auto recycler for $100 and put a new ignition coil in. If you buy a used one, make sure it's in good shape and within spec.

So if you buy a used distributor, would the ignition coil be the only thing you should be cautious of? (besides the obvious maintenance of cap and rotor)

the control module can go bad, there are sensors in there as well that can go bad and there is an inner seal that can go bad and leak oil into the distrib. i replaced it on my girls accord.

I got a remanufactured distributer off of Ebay almost a year ago for $30 and I've never had a problem with it.
