rebuilt motor??
ok, i want to rebuild my motor but sometime i have been talking with my cuzzie in so-cal. his suggestions for me are to just go for a b16 swap but when i told him that i was going to rebuild my Y8, he said no. His reasons where rebuilding the darn thing will lessin my motor life. Is that true?
he also said that rebuilding a motor will cause your valves and blah blah blah to work harder and open up more and will eventually break down in 20-30K of driving. Is this true?
i need some 3rd opinion on this so i can make up my mind! i am looking to rebuild from botton up. forged pistons, rods, crank shaft, cam shafts, valves and retainers, new studs...and what ever else i need.
I need help, my budget is about 2 G's...
