Rebuild My D16y8 or go H22a
I cant seem to make a choice as to what I should do... I have a little money this income tax season and need to overhaul my car one way or another... I have a loan on the title i dont plan on paying off soon ;p
Keep in mind I have a ZEX nos kit Im planning on putting on here for the first time with the rebuild. Nothing big... 50-75 shot expected.
I currently have a ZC block with at D16y8 head on it.
It needs rebuilt bad... oil everywhere but it runs pretty strong still I just want to make it last the 2-3 years the title will be out.

This rebuild kit with some new pistons... Good idea?
CV joints will be done.
All labor will be done myself.
So far this is pretty cheap, If you were going this route with this motor what would you dump money into next? I have a little left over but dont know where to put it.

ok honestly it depends on how much money your working with..... you can make good power with the d.... but if you have the cash i would do h22 you will find you will be very happy with that swap...but its a little of a pain but not that bad if you have the experince and the know how.....if you need any ideas on the d setup i can give you some i am working on a 350whp turbo d....hit me up .....
