rear wheel bearing replacement

rear wheel bearing replacement
ok so i bought a rear hub/bearing this afternoon and i plan on changing it tomorrow morning/afternoon. (95 dx hb, rear drivers side wheel).
however, to remove the bearing/hub you have to take off that goldenish plate/cover thing (yes, technical language is my forté). and i dont know how
or is there some other way of doing this that i am too stupid/tired to see?
