Rear Tranny Mount went crack....
Yeah so I was doing a routine oil change, and to my shock, my rear tranny mount is majorly cracked. The actual mount is fine, but where it bolts to the case...a large chunck of metal is gone, and the bolt is nowhere 2 be found.
Im getting a new trans soon, but anyone know the part number of that bolt?
Or do i need a whole new trans mount...

Sorry for not reading every damn post of yours to check what kinda car you had, now I hope your motor falls out and you have to dish out more cash.... At least I know what a rear tranny mount is....

Re: Rear Tranny Mount went crack.... (Plan B)
broken right in that area.
Whoever put your tranny in last, didn't tighten that bolt up very much, and it started to work itself out and when there were just a few threads left, you got on it and it torqued that bolt through the case.
Only reason I know, I did this myself a couple years back.
The worst kind of pain is self inflicted pal.
