Default Rear Tranny Mount went crack....

Yeah so I was doing a routine oil change, and to my shock, my rear tranny mount is majorly cracked. The actual mount is fine, but where it bolts to the case...a large chunck of metal is gone, and the bolt is nowhere 2 be found.

Im getting a new trans soon, but anyone know the part number of that bolt?

Or do i need a whole new trans mount...

Year/model and its a civic I'm guessing?

And are you talking about the rear engine mount bracket, or the front upper tranny mount? Need more info..

Sorry for not reading every damn post of yours to check what kinda car you had, now I hope your motor falls out and you have to dish out more cash.... At least I know what a rear tranny mount is....

BTW: I have two 94+ Integra rear mount brackets, and i'm sure i can scrounge up a bolt. IM me if you're interested...

Your tranny case is broken, that is the problem correct.

broken right in that area.

Whoever put your tranny in last, didn't tighten that bolt up very much, and it started to work itself out and when there were just a few threads left, you got on it and it torqued that bolt through the case.

Only reason I know, I did this myself a couple years back.

The worst kind of pain is self inflicted pal.

thanks for all the help, but i believe that it was caused cause of broken rubber in the motor mounts, it was shaking around 2 much and put all the stress on that mount...i think??

anyway im getting a new trans soon and i have a act hdss sittin in my room waitin 2 go in...yeah i bought a big ole lemon, lol but i shure did learn my lesson, but its my project, and i enjoy working on it so i dont mind it 2 much, its just the money part that sucks

Edit: Yeah, lol so after i knock this problem down ill only have a few more...hmm, lets see :
1. Transmission/Clutch/hydrolic problem - Soon to be fixed
2. Heat not working - fixed
3. Un-rig the getto *** hid / i dont know WTF is going on (my bulbs are TAPED IN).... - Got to work on that one
4. 3rd Brakelight, praying its just bulb
5. Rewire Reverse Lights from tranny to...BTW, anyone know where those 2 wires go too? they are kinda cut...
6. Get new ignition Switch
7. Start on performance mods!! YAY i cant wait till the day
8. ****...forgot, pass inspection
