Rear toe camber bolt threaded.

Rear toe camber bolt threaded.
Ok so i was changing my toe camber to an integra one and i over tighened the bolt and it threaded. i put some white stuff over it to catch the thread so it could go back in the body of the car and it worked a little but i just can't fully tighten it as i could the one next to it. The camber feels firm as if it will not fall apart. but in a case like this, what should i do. should i put a size bigger bolt in it or what. Please help!!

Re: Rear toe camber bolt threaded.
you mean stripped the hole?
i think you may have to user an oversized bolt to make new thread
cant retap the hole unless it misthreaded i think

Re: Rear toe camber bolt threaded.
i think i only mis threaded the screw because i cant just push the bolt in the hole of the car so that tells me the body hole is not treaded but the screw. Am i correct?

Re: Rear toe camber bolt threaded.
if you can thread the bolt into the hole but when you get to the torquing phase and the bolt just spins ...
theres no thread left in that hole
and i dont believe retapping the hole will bring the thread back
google it

Re: Rear toe camber bolt threaded.
i just googled it,
people say you have to buy a helicoil and slightly larger than before and make new thread so you may use a larger bolt
