rear tire not locking up please give insight
92 civic 4 door dx.... rear drum
ok well ever since i owned this car almost a year the rear tires dont lock in place when i pull the ebrake i adjusted the cable wit the nut real tight and pull it up hard and it still drags,,,, now i had other honda's that the rear would lock which allowed me to do a burn out at the track to get my tires sticky.... any ideas? prob just the shoes right??? anyone have any idea what midas charges for drum job..

if the linings are not worn out, try a brake cleaner!
also, some aftermarket brake linings are like that. r u using oem?
