Rear Speakers in Del Sol

Rear Speakers in Del Sol
Hi there, my sister has a 93 Del Sol, and from the factory it doesn't come with rear speakers, and i think for a fact that it does have rear speakers wire running somewhere in the back, so i'm just wondering for those who have a del sol whom put after market speakers in the rear, hwo did you guys mount the speakers? TIA, they are going to be 6.5's going in the rear. sorry, i did a search, but couldn't find anything.

for the sol they are 6.5" all around. Just find brackets from one of the sol that does have it and put it in there. Thats the "EASIEST" solution. Hope that helps.

yeah i was thinking of doing that, but i wanted to save some money 
i already put the front ones on, but i just have to put the rear ones on, but they have no mounting plate or whatsoever so i can't really do much there, but i guess i'll take a look at wreckers or someting to see if they hvae that piece. thanks though.

herbear, i guess it was a factory option whether it had rear speakers or not, cuz my sister's car has the wiring for the rear speakers, but when you take the panels off, no speakers at all.

thats weird. i didn't know some del sols didn't come with rear speakers. well anyhoo my 94 del sol S came with it. i'm sure it comes pre-wired for the speakers. you just gotta look for it.

AzntaggeR, yeah it does have the speaker wires somewhere, i just have to look for them, but yeah, doesn't come with factory speakers, i guess it was an option for 93. 
pretty bummer, but i'll have to figure something otu to fabricate the rear speakers than.

umm. 6x9, i'm not even sure, doesn't look like it'll fit, but i already purchased the 6 1/2's anyhow
they sound pretty good upfront, but no idea how to mount them in the rear.
