hey guys, quick question:
how do i get the rear speaker panel off of my '98 civic coupe?

You need to remove the "quarter" pieces on the side of the seats to get the rear deck off of the speakers. BullSh*t if you ask me, lol

Yah, it blows, My one rear speaker is shot but i dont care enough to take apart all that to get to it. Some of the clips will probably break. Good luck though!!

no eff that if you go in the trunk where the speakers mount you can see little white clips were the screws go into....if you cut those off the screws you can twist the speaker and get it out and then just mount the new speaker from the bottom....saves me alot of time at work....im assuming your doing speakers if not then this post is useless

yea im replacing my speakers. i got some pioneers that sound pretty good and clear. but i just took apart my whole rear seat area. im gonna post some pics tonight

in all truth, no. i mean it was annoying being cramped behind my rear seats. but other than that, there were about 6-10 10mm bolts holding in my seats, and everything else just clipped in. so as long as you are careful, you should only break at most, 1 clip. thats all i broke.
