Okay, I purchased these seats yesterday (06-09 civic si rear bench) and they kinda fit. Well for the most part, yes, they do. Basically the bottom cushion fits right in, but the back has some problems. The bolts that attach from the seat to the metal peice that allows them to swing forward and back are smaller in the 96-00 seats. You will need to buy bigger bolts to be able to properly attach the seats to the car. Another issue is the hook that goes into the car to lock them into place. The left side will fit in if you jam it there, but the right side is completely in the wrong spot on the seats. It's about 6 inches from the latch, so the only way to make it fit, I believe is to remove the hook from the foam and then use a ziptie or some sort to tie it to someplace in the trunk. This will keep it secure, but it won't be able to fold down like the other one. For the most part, it works, there are some minor issues, but if it's worth it to you, then definitely do it. You will need 8 bolts total.

I still have the stock cloth seats for the rear, but I want to make my interior match up. I have already tried the GSR back leather seats (yes, I know they only fit for hatch's) and that's it so far. I would like to get rear seats to match my fronts (same material as front, and also black with red stitching), but black leather would also another fine alternative. I would just like to get some ideas of what will fit. I can do slight slight modification to seats, but would prefer them to just pop right it. Links would be great, any help appreciated. Thanks.

You 100% sure about that? Don't gotta mess with the brackets or anything for rears?

And is it for the 2-door or 4-door or either?

fastrxu is right. Those rears would be the perfect match up. But i think there made from that's similar to tweed i believe, starts with an A..something like alanca..or whatever.

i would assume it have to be from the coupe since the 4 door should have different rear seats. someone does need to confirm if they're just bolt in tho, cuz i'll do that and sell my si front/rear seats.

Only thing about that is im not at all sure if the sears in a the Si sedans differ from those in a Si coupe. I would assue the pics you have are from a coupe. f i had to take a wild guess i'd say those were from a coupe. I'd imagine the sedans to be a tad bit wider. Then again i may be wrong.

That can't be right i was going to buy a pair of Si front seats for my 98 Civic and the kid that was sellin them said he had to put on new sliders to make them fit....

From what I've read while searching around:
Rear bench goes in perfectly, no mods necessary
Front buckets need EK rails on em to fit

I posted a pic of them in an EK, and they're also on the web if you search. It's mad hard to find em anywhere. I can't even find em for retail price through something like honda.com or an official place like that. If anyone has them in the Washington DC area and wants to let them go, let me know black with red trim preferred, haha.

The newer Si rear seats look pretty good! I have S2000 front seats (black leather) and i'm a big fan of leather because it stays so clean. I was trying to find out what would fit thats leather. I heard 4 door GSR seats? Didnt seem to make sense 4 door seats in a coupe but I havent really found a confirmation on them going right in with minimal mods.

They don't there is always misinformation being spread about this... They don't fit without custom fabrication...

You can't just put EK rails on them it requires you to fab/weld your own brackets...
