Default rear seat question!

the edges of the bottom part of my rear seat always pop up like they are un-attached. i have noticed this in my friends hatch and mine. is there a way to hold them down any better? or does anyone have any tricks to keep the corners from popping up?!

I had the same problem. The cushion has warped. I used to buckle the seatbelt on the back to keep the corners from sticky up but eventually, I had to replace the bench to solve the problem.

Just take the bench off and bend it back. I had this happen in my 93 hatch. I took the seat off and bent it back. The foam on the inside has a wire skeleton that can be bent fairly easily. Its easier if you have the bench off first so you can bend it just a touch more than necessary so it holds its shape better when put back in.
