Default Rear quarter panel extraction ?

Heya !

I'd like to know what would be the fastest, simplest and cleanest way to remove the part squared in red in the picture. Blow torch ? I might not be able to use electricity where the car is, since it's in a car graveyard.

thanks a lot for inputs

the whole wuarter panel or just that one part?
if you just want that park out to put like metal over it due to rust then plasma cut the metal and weld on sheetmetal. but then again i don't know what you mean by your question.. you might want to edit your question.

I am currently having some difficulties explaining my question in english...

I want to remove the part in the red square (approximatly) from a "A" car to use it on a "B" car later on.

Is that better ?

Die grinder will be the easiest if you are asking what I think you are. You're trying to cut out that square to use later on? I know you said you may not have electicity, but a torch will warp the metal.

Die grender : A dremel tool will do approximatly the same job ?

If not, do you have any pics ?

Go to a tool rental place and rent an air compressor and electric hacksaw, or a cordless reciprocating saw (sawzall).

Unless you know what your doing, you can destroy the metal. Plasma cutter is optimal, but at a junkyard electricity isnt available. A dremel will do the job, just be careful and keep the blade moving.

my friend did it on his 92 integra. He drilled out all the spot welds, then pulled the skin off. He replaced it with a new one and welded it back into place. Lots of time and hard work but it can be done.

You would suggest a plasma cutter over a sawzall? Ha, sawzall is the easiest tool to use. You really cant mess up at all.

Plasma cutter requires normal electricity only ?

I doubt the junkyard will be able to give me any electricity...

I only want to remove the part and go home with it. I'll do whatever detailing on it when i'll have it in my hand. I can resize it and remove the **** i did with a cutter, but the main objective is to get the quarter out of the junkyard as simply as possible.

hell, just rent a generator. I've got a 5000watt generator in the back storage building just for instances when there is no power available.

yea, sawzall will take you like 2 minutes to do the whole thing. If you 've ever used a jigsaw or a dremel before, you can easily use the sawzall. Just gotta find a cordless one. Maybe you know a contractor or someone in construction that will let you borrow one if the tool rentals places dont have it.
