HELP! Rear passenger side caliper sticking on my hatch??
I just noticed this annoying problem today, I adjusted my e-brake handle and now I notice my rear passenger caliper SOMETIMES sticks. When I'm about to launch normally, I feel the right side holding back and sometimes it makes a weird noise, like if the e-brake was up. I already adjusted the e-brake handle to see if I tightened too hard but it wasn't that. Like I said sometimes it sticks and other times its fine. Any ideas? FYI I have a 93 CX with rear disk conversion.

If you know it isn't the cable being adjusted too tight, rebuild or replace the caliper. There is a handbrake mechanism in the rear caliper that is probably sticking.

Check the caliper, check the ebrake mechanism behind the caliper, check the cables, and check the equalizer.

Check to see if your caliper bracket sliding pins seized. There are 2 each on the rear. Remove them, clean out the bracket with some WD40 and a wire brush, remove the pins & clean with a wire wheel & grease up then test.
