Rear main seal time?
So I just ripped off my transmission and was greeted with the tiniest bit of oily sledge at the bottom of the bell housing.
Is this normal or should I go ahead and replace the rear main seal?
Also; I've got the transmission off to do a clutch swap. Do I have to do anything to the flywheel in preparation for a fresh clutch disc?
Below is a pic of said oily sludge. (After I'd ran my finger through some of it)

Thanks craigaria.
That was my next question.
Guess I'm yanking my flywheel tonight to have it resurfaced tomorrow.
Long distance high-five for HT... Again.
