Rear main seal!!!!!

Rear main seal!!!!!
Ok so my car is leaking oil in between the motor and tranny im guessing its the rear main seal!!! ouch any suggestions and on how to do it.. The car is a 98 honda civic HX d16y5..anything would help thnx..

i was thinking abt removing the tranny then the clutch and flywheel...does it require any internal work or is it on the outside????

You dont need to pull the whole motor to get it.
Remove tranny
Remove clutch
Remove flywheel
Remove oil pan
Remove rear main seal
Replace RMS
Put back oil pan
Put back Flywhel
Put back clutch
Put back tranny
Have a beer.
If its your first time have a weekend set aside to do it.
Remove tranny
Remove clutch
Remove flywheel
Remove oil pan
Remove rear main seal
Replace RMS
Put back oil pan
Put back Flywhel
Put back clutch
Put back tranny
Have a beer.
