rear lca and are problems!

rear lca and are problems!
Hi,
This is the first time I've used this site since I signed up and am struggling to find the answer to my problem.
I have function 7 lca's on my ej9 but I can't find the right drop links to fit onto the lca. It lines up perfectly but the thread on the drop link just isn't long enough to bolt on the lca.
Anybody know which drop link I need? Or how to solve the problem?
Thanks

Re: rear lca and are problems!
Yeah sorry. Basically the arb bolts up perfectly and the drop links fit okay too. But the thread on the drop link does not go through the mounting point on the lca. It's not long enough to get a bolt on the end... If that makes sense.
If not ill try and get a picture up after work.

I get what you're sayin now... hmmm
sounds like your only solution is to get some new ones that have a longer thread shank.

Re: rear lca and are problems!
yea I suspected that would be a hard to find component.
I don't know how comfortable your are with grinding or milling off the "front" side of the arm in that area to expose some threads... how far do the threads go into it? do they protrude only a little or do they not even go through to the other side?

Re: rear lca and are problems!
ok I searched for some end links with a longer shank and found these.
they're made by blox (I know) and they are adjustable, they are said to work with their lca's and type r lca's which tells me they may have made the through bolt longer, also in the picture they look a lot longer.
the part number is BXSS-1010-1EL. found em on amazon for like 40 bux.

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the help guys.
Yeah they were hard tracking them down but I've ordered some blox adjustable drop links from America. Only place I could find them. I'm just hoping that will solve the problem.
Thanks again
