Rear ITR seats in an EG hatch
I have a set of 98 rear ITR seats....want to put it into a 92 hatch. Just wondering what methods others have used? Photos of fitment? Swap the itr skin onto civic seat skeleton?

If you all want to know what really works and looks stock it's 2 door ITR seat "BACKS" and a 4 door ITR seat "BOTTOM". I know because I have this and it looks stock... I've delt with the gaps having only the 2 door seats but was not satisfied settling for less than perfection! I will try to take some pics with my shitty camera phone tomorrow and post them up. I didn't have to modify anything take any skins off of anything, etc, etc...

yeah... I had to buy both sets but now I'm just selling off the extra cushions to make some of my money back... already sold the 2 door bottom.

Interesting, did yours look like this....
That's the bottom sides of the seat backs.

no.... the backs are exactly the same as my stock si seats from a functional standpoint the only difference is the raised headrest... what are those seats supposed to be from?

NineTwoSi: Do the metal tabs on the bottom of the seat cushion (at the front edge) line up with the holes in the Civic body (your last pic makes me think they do, but just double checking). Also, does the little metal loop through which you screw the seat bottom to the car line up with the hole in the Civic body? (The coupe cushion does not.. it's on the wrong side)
Thanks for the pics! I've been wondering about this forever.

Yes the tabs on the front edge do line up exactly and no the loop on the back edge is on the opposite side... I have heard that certain years of ITR seat bottoms the two clips don't line up but I can not confirm that because the 2 door seat bottom and the 4 door seat bottom that I bought did. Maybe someone else can confirm this. I would just make sure if you go to buy some take your stock cushion out to compare in person with the one you want to buy or verify with the seller that they have personally tried them in an EG and they work. As far as the loop on the back, I'm not really stressing about it bolting to the chassis or not because lets be realistic here, if some is in your back seat with their seatbelt fastened that cushion is not going anywhere.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have a coupe cushion in there now and since the front tabs don't line up (and it's a bit too narrow) it slides around quite a bit. I've still got the stock Civic cushion laying around so I'll make sure to compare it with whatever I'm looking at.
Thanks again!
