my 92 hatch won't close properly unless I also open the bottom portion of it just a lil bit and close them as one... anyone know why? it's not that bad, it's just I plan on completely rebuilding it when I have the money and I want to know how to fix it if this happens again. also, when it rains, it's almost like there's no seal on the top of the window or a bad weatherseal. does anyone have any pics of this area? thankss

Sounds like your top hinges are bent or mis-aligned. Might try some new hinges:


And a new seal wouldn't hurt:

When my hatch window would do this, it was a problem with the latch, I just cleaned it with some wd-40 and its been ok since, may not work but its worth a try.
