Rear disk spindle problem(hub\bearing)
Ok so I got me a set of Teg TAs from PasswordJDM, and I am in the process of rebuiling them with new OEM parts. I have completely stripped them down to just the TA and spindle. My problem-
One hub\bearing assemply came off with no issue, the other one did not. It left the rear bearing cap on the spindle, I know this has to have happened to many people before, so what can I do(other than take it to a machine shop)?
I had thought of heating it up with a heat gun in the hopes of expanding the cap and it would slide off.(have not tried it yet)
What do you think?
Hope I explained it well enough, I'll try and get pics to make it more clear.

Re: Rear disk spindle problem(hub\bearing) (4door_demon)
get a die grinder w/ a cutoff tool and just cut a groove straight up and down on the section of the bearing that is stuck, it is only stuck because of the resistance fit on the spindle, so when you cut into that bearing, the stress that is holding it on is gone and it will pop off, believe me I have done this a million times with both ft & rr wheel bearings
