Rear Disc Parking Brake Question (not about which cables)
I was looking at a break-down of the rear disc on a Honda and I don't understand how the parking brake works. I know on most cars with rear disc brakes, there are brake shoes on the inner part the rotor hub. But it doesn't look like that is how these brakes work. If anyone knows, please explain. I need to figure out if the rear disc swap I am looking at is complete. Thanks.

simple
You pull the hand brake, which pulls a cable, closing the caliper and putting pad pressure on the rotor. There is a spring on the caliper, which makes the caliper reopen when the cable is slack
its a physical, mechanical brake

Let me clarify what he said.
There is that rotational spring. Theres a stick coming out of the caliper. The e-brake pulls on a leven which rotates it. inside there is a sort of cam that rotates, thus pushing on the piston. Check http://www.hondapartssource.com for a diagram that should give ya a better idea.
