Rear Disc Brakes questions
I'm a noob. I DID search but came up with no results pertaining to my specific questions.
I have a 99 Civic. One of my friends has a 90-93 Integra with disc brakes. I wondered if they would fit my civic.
Also, I'm looking to install a B16 into it. I didn't want to touch the block at all and only do some mild modifications to the head (i.e. cams, cam gears). I wondered if anyone could give me an idea as to how much horsepower and/or torque I would be making. TIA.

Ok, the FAQ at the top are about what engine swaps are available. I already know that. I already know what I'm putting in. I just wondered if anyone has had any experience with B16's and mild headwork.
That wasn't the real point to this topic though. I wanted to know about the brakes which is why the topic is stated as such. Thank you to those who answered my brake question.

What about the rear control arms from the 93 Integra. Will they work on my 99 Civic?
BTW, when your FAQ pages about swaps contain 30 pages of unneccesary BS that have nothing to really contribute to the FAQ itself, it makes it extremely hard to read through. Maybe clean that up some and people will use the search a little more and use the FAQ.

Re: (Vallary99)
Don't be an *** dude, the FAQ is very comprehensive. All of the threads are listed at the top.
Maybe you just need to learn how to read?
to trial users who know everything.

For a Rear Drum to Disc Brake Conversion, all you really need from the Integra's Arms are the Spindles. Most people, however, swap the entire Trailing Arm Assembly.
For the Rear, there is a Trailing Arm (which includes the Trailing Arm Bushing and Spindle), a "Compensator" Arm (also called a "Torque" Arm), and **2** "Control" Arms (Upper and Lower)... To which "Control" Arm are you referring? Again, the less you swap the happier you are likely to be. There aren't many reasons to swap the LCAs or UCAs for this conversion...

Thank you JasonGhostz, that was really helpful. I guess I wasn't looking in the right spot because the only FAQ I saw was about the engine swaps and I searched for "brakes", "rear brakes", "integra brakes", etc. and came up with very little.
