the piece that pushes the pads out is out far. i know its got to be twisted in order to get it in. whats another way of doing this? i tried some wrenches and messed it up alittle. how do u guys get througH?

There is a special tool that connects to a 3/8 ratchet. It has a cross one it made for these kinds of vehicles. Pick one up at any local auto store before you **** something else up.

If your talking about the piston.... i use a C clamp. You could also use a caliper piston compresor(does the same thing).

yea its the piston im talking bout. i dont have other tools besides jus wrenches... i gues ill have to go to local stores.

I usually use the piston compressor.

I use this so I won't have to bleed the brakes if I ever crack open the bleeder screw. C-Clamp works, but you need to crack the bleeder screw. With this tool, it's not needed.

Rears gentelmen. It screws in. Just get a long screwdriver and wedge it in there and turn it. It should be pretty aparent which way is going down and which way isnt after a few turns.

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PUSH THE REARS IN WITH A C-CLAMP.
