Default Rear control arms...

installing these rear/lower control arms

i already did an alignment when i dropped my car 2" two weeks ago. will i need to throw it on the alignment rack again after the control arms? will it change dramatically? i'm only messing with the strut really. i'm not thinking that it'll interfer too much with the alignment. any comments?

Nice LCA's to begin with, but it shouldn't mess up your allignment.

your just replacing it, it should be the same length and all.

have fun installing them.

there's a chance that you may need an aligment after the install. even if the length is the same, i'm guessing that your old LCA's had old bushings in it and the new LCA's may change that.

drive it around after and see how it feels. keep an eye on your rear tires to see if they're out of toe or not.

also it's not really a huge deal since you can replace the bushings but the bushings are much better than stock

If the old bushings are rotted, I could see the alignment being out of whack. Some aftermarket LCAs are different lengths than stock to help correct camber due to lowering your car, so maybe that could also change the alignment.

And about the bushings in the Skunk2s, they may be better than stock, I won't argue that. However, there are the Energy Suspension urethane bushings for OEM LCAs...

not to mention they were half the price of the lca's Honda had. One lca was $252 at the Honda dealership. The skunk2 lca's were $200 for the pair w/ free shipping
