rear camber question.
alright guys i drive a 96 ek hatch, due to the fact that i dont drive the car during winter yesterday i took it out for a drive. when i got home i noticed that the camber on the rear right hand side tire was diffrent than the left one. The inner thread of the tire is touching the ground and onthe left side it seems like its more in the middle. Any idieas?

Re: rear camber question.
odvious question will be is the car lowered?
Yes you can get the rear suspension aligned but make sure you get the front done as well.
Now, camber on stock civics are not adjustable, that being said, stock camber settings for rear camber is anywhere between 0.5-1.5 positive camber meaning the top of the tire is angle in.
The only way to adjust the rear camber is to either buy an aftermarket camber adjusting kit or go the cheap way and jam washer and longer bolts on the upper arm. Your alignement shop will not install washer or the adjustable alignement kit for you, this you need to do yourself.
If you live anywhere other than in california you will have rust issues and the installation of either camber kit or washers will not be pleasant. If you have a good mecanicly incline friend, now would be the time to buy him a case of beer.
