Rear camber kit bolt is stuck. Need help!
Well when I took off the rear wheels and looked at my camber kit, it seems as though 1 of the bolt is stuck inside the hole on the wall. There are 3 bolts total for the camber kit. 2 of them goes to the wall. These are the bolts Im talking about. It seems as though the welded nut that is suppose to hold the bolt from the inside broke free from a weld. So now its just spinning. Does anyone have a similar issue? I have a 97 civic ek hatchback.

well the problem isnt the camber kit.. Its actually the bolt thats stuck inside the wall of my chasis. Even if I were to cut the bolt, I would have to drill another hole on the wall for the camber kit. And even if I were to cut the camber kit and replace it, theres no way I can screw a new one on. I will try and take pictures of what it looks like tonight or maybe tomorrow because I think I have the flu.. cough cough*

swine flu.. he was never heard from again.
I was changing over to poly bushings and I thought I broke a welded nut off... if you're talking about the rear compensator arm - I had a plate on my car that was inside the chassis, loose - which the bolt screwed into. Point being it was adjustable and could slide in and out for toe adjustment - but I shat bricks when I first saw it and thought I fcuked up my frame for eternity...

yeah.. I think so too.... I gutted out the back and removed the side interior and didnt see anything leading to it. I also went under and tried to remove some of the plastic cover next to the gas tank and theres still no way to get to it. If anyone else finds a solution to these or have similar problems, then please pm or comment this page. Thanks

You may have to re-thread the hole, but will save a crap load of time.

hrmm.. sounds like a good idea. I bought brand new skunk2 rear camber kits like a year ago and I still havent been able to put them on because of this problem. As for the hole, I dont think its threaded. I think theres a nut at the end thats welded on to the wall. Thats the reason why my bolt is stuck in there.. I can spin and turn it, but it wont come out. The weilded nut must have broke loose.

yeah.. cutting is my last resort. I just want to know if anyone ever had a problem like this and if there was another way of getting to it without cutting. But It seems like thats my only option. Maybe Ill have a shop do it.
