Rear brake line question
Ok I rarely post here but I need some help. I've got a 95 ex coupe, and have got a rearend from an 94-01 integra. Ive got all the parts except the brake lines. I was looking for aftermarket brake lines but he doesnt know if they will match up. Anyone have any imput on where I would be able to find some lines? (aftermarket?)
heres the link for the ones I found. Says it fits ex's with rear disks. 1993-95 CIVIC COUPE EX W/REAR DISC 4 HN-1330

Re: Rear brake line question (Team RS2)
i dont think the lines from the drum mate up to the disc, unfortunaltey i cut up my lines to i can get 2 fitings off of it so i dont have lines anymore, run the part numbers at an online honda parts store for a
integra soft line and a drum civic softline see if they match

Re: Rear brake line question (EJ1_Sleeper)
From the Hard Line, the Drum Brake Hoses for the Rear are split into 2 hoses. The Disc Brake Hoses for the Rear is a single hose (per side), and includes a metal bracket. Furthermore, the Brake End Fittings are completely different, as Drum Brake Hoses attach to the Drum's Wheel Cylinder, and the Disc Brake Hoses attach to the Banjo Bolt (don't forget your washers!).
Go with these... they're from the 95 SI. They have the correct fittings to attach to your Calipers, and they are the correct size for your Chassis Family...

This diagram is for the 1995 3DR GSR. It shows the Rear Disc Brake Hose as a single line...
Anyway, if you can get the Integra Soft Lines, then go for it. They have different Honda PNs, but the end fitting to the Caliper is the same (they both use the same Banjo Bolt (46462-SE0-000)). The concerns you might have will be regarding its length, and the Hard Line End (I'm not 100% sure they're the same as for Civic models)...
The safest bet would be to get the Rear Disc Brake Hoses for the 95 SI... They're <$50 for the set (OEM), and you'll have the peace of mind knowing that you have the MOST PROPER parts for your Chassis Family... if that matters at all.
Then again, do whatever you want. It's your time and car... Let us know!
