Default Rear Brake Caliper Piston

Changing the pads on my 96 del sol and the rear piston will not compress to put the new pads on, cant figure out the problem, i checked the e-brake just to make sure it wasnt on and it wasnt that, does anybody know why it will not compress or someone tell me how i can compress it

The piston needs to be twisted back down, not simply compressed. I believe you need to turn it clockwise to compress it if I remember correctly. It' been a while since I changed my pads. Use a large flathead/chisel tool.
