I'm about to purchase an exhaust for an EG6 (Don't ask). I know there shouldn't be any real differences between the JDM EG6 and American EH2 but I wanted to make absolutely certain before I order this....it'll be a pain to return.

Are the collector spots in the same location for both d series and b series engines? I'm curious about this too.

That is a good question. I have a ITR header and a catco cat. I wonder if I'll be able to get away with not having to cut the exhaust.

Well even when u swap motors the b series lines up with the older d series exhaust. and no there are no differences.

What about the length of the exhaust. I know I had issues when I first did my ITR swap. The pipe had to be cut (From the exhaust). Is the palcement of the header and cat the same on the SIR II and the American SI???

I'll cut the exhaust to make it work but I'd rather not if @ all possible.

I thought the sir was a 5g. The exhaust should fit with no mods or very little.

Yeah it is the 5g. I was just curious because depending on your swap your cat/header combo will be different lengths.

Yeah I was curious because I am running a GSR midpipe and Type R exhuast manifold with a custom midpipe. I kinda need a cat.
