Default REALLY need some help on oil pump leak??

Vehicle: 1998 Honda Civic EX, 4dr

Ok, had my mechanic (reputable) change out the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and cam/crank seals here about three months ago. After about a month or so I noticed oil leaking around the alternator bracket. The leak seems to be getting worse. Anyways, I thought maybe they messed up on the cam/crank seals. I finally took it back in today and they just left a message saying that they pulled the timing cover again, and that the seals ARE NOT LEAKING. Everything is dry. They said it looks like the oil pump, and that that is something that they do not work on.

I plan on asking them a little more in detail when I pick it up (hopefully they are not going to charge me a lot to take it apart...) but where could the pump be leaking??? Here is a picture of the pump:

(I noticed this guy may have the same issue...)

I did notice that it may be leaking from the threaded plug area, and it seems to be heavy right in the alternator bracket area...

What the hell is this plug, and can I simply unscrew it and use Honda gray rtv on the threads??? Help please!!!!!!!!! Thanks!
