Really fast ticking problem...(car won't start) --- Need help!
Ok so I have a 97 civic with a D16y8 OBD1 turbo'ed. Everything was fine the other day when I went to start it. All of a sudden, today I went to start it, turned the key to accesories, and then went to start it but all it gave me was this really fast, repeating tick noise instead of turning over. All of my gauges in the car also flash to the speed of the ticking.
Any help?

Sounds like you have dead battery. It may need to be replaced, but check for a parasitic draw. Then when you put a new battery in, or find the source of the parasitic draw, test the charging system just to make sure that the alternator is charging the battery.

yea it sounds like you have a dead battery or a issue with your main relay, usually that happens when there is a problem with the grounding on the thermostat.
