Default real quick.

alright i got a ek coupe, which would be OBD2, if i were to get a engine swap prior to 1995, i would need a OBD2-OBD1 harness, right? i'm a little lost on the electrical aspect

yes correct, and obdI ecu, also check local laws in some states its illegal to swap in a motor older than the year of your car

alright, but if i were to get a newer gs-r motor AFTER 95 then i would be fine right? aside from the swap procedure the electrical stuff should "bolt" right up

in order to get your car "BAR'D" you need a motor your year or newer. but even if u have an OBD-II motor you can get a harness conversion and use an OBD-I ecu

G2, i dont mean to get off topic, but i was just reading your signature, and that same **** happened to me and my friend the other day. the guy flagged us down and said, "theres a lot of kids around here, if you hit any of em, illkillya."

what a waste.

yea we still have saftey/emissions.. but I don't think it's as strict, at least we can get around it with ease lol.. thanks for clearning that up though
